Two men have been arrested for the murder of four-year-old Thea Lewis, who was killed after she was caught up in an alleged gang-related shooting on Wednesday 18 April in Uitsig, Ravensmead.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Andrè Traut, Operation Combat members and detectives embarked on a tracing operation overnight to apprehend those responsible.
“This morning at 04:30, they arrested two suspects, both aged 21, on a murder charge. The suspects will appear in court soon.”
Meanwhile additional forces have been deployed in several areas, including Ravensmead, to quell incidents of violence, Traut told TygerBurger.
