The International Martial Arts Academy took on the challenge of competing in two karate championships.
The championships were held on the same day, Saturday 22 February. With dedication and teamwork, their Senseis split up to ensure athletes could represent the school at both events.

•Karate-Zen Kata Championship: Aiden Fortuin (Gold), Aúden Kotze (Bronze), Ava Johannes (Gold), Emily Matthee (Silver), Franco Gerber (Silver), Jeac van Lill (Bronze), Nicole Ayres (Gold).
•Boland Dragons League Championship: Emily van Renen (Bronze in Kata and Kumite), Aimee Stephens (Gold in Kata and Bronze in Kumite), Jedidiah Johns (Double Silver Kata and Kumite), Jody de Freitas (Double Gold Kata and Kumite), Micke Pentz (Silver Kumite), Morgan van Nooy (Silver Kata).
