Local detectives are still looking for information on the
death of a Parow man in 2015 and are calling on the public for help.

The body of Aldred Coenraad Beukes, originally from Keimoes
in the Northern Cape, was found on New Year’s Day of 2015 in Sandy Bay.

According to provincial police spokesperson, Captain FC van
Wyk, Beukes was employed as a security official at GrandWest casino in July
2005.

By August 2010 Beukes resigned, saying he was going to his
girlfriend and would be working in the Knysna/George area as an events manager,
where he would be staying with friends.

Beukes returned to Cape Town where he was again employed as
a security officer, Van Wyk says.

“His body was found on 1 January 2015 in Sandy Bay, near
Hout Bay.  An inquest was registered to
confirm the cause of his death,” Van Wyk says.

Anyone with any information about Beukes’s death is
requested to contact Major General Jeremy Vearey on 063 629 1567, Captain Bock
on 082 469 2576 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
