Police on
Tuesday arrested one of Blikkiesdorp’s notorious gangsters, famously known
Notorious Juicy.
According to
a police report on the incident, the Law Enforcement Neighbourhood Safety Team
officers were patrolling the area at about 5.45 pm when they came across the
suspect.
“The
officers were doing stop-and-searches, looking for gunmen who are believed to
have taken part in a spate of shootings in the area, when they came across a
suspicious-looking man,” the statement said.
“Upon
interviewing the suspect, officers realized this suspect resembled a suspect
who has been terrorizing the Blikkiesdorp community for a while. He was
identified as Notorious Juicy”
Notorious
Juicy was also wanted by police on a slew of charges, including two attempted
murders, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, house breaking and
armed robbery.
It turned
out that an operation to arrest him was scheduled for later that evening.
