Ten people, several of them schoolchildren, were left
injured on Monday afternoon following a collision between two taxis at the
Erica Drive and Symphony Way intersection in Belhar.
According to ER24’s Russel Meiring, the injuries sustained
ranged from minor to moderate.
“The patients were treated for their injuries and were
thereafter transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further care.
“The details surrounding this incident are not yet known,”
says Meiring.
