The cause of a fire in Brooklyn during the early hours of Tuesday (25 April) is still unknown.
According to Fire and Rescue Services spokesperson, Tracey Whittaker, at about 05:15 firefighters responded to a fire at Jan Phil Court in Justin Street. She says the fire was at a flat on the ground floor and 12 firefighters and three firefighting vehicles responded to the call.
There were no injuries or fatalities and the scene was handed over to police.
At this stage, the cause of the fire has not been determined.
