Alta du Toit School’s renowned Marimba Band in 2024.

Alta du Toit School in Kuils River will host an open day on Friday 11 April, to provide potential sponsors and community members with an inside look at the incredible work being done to support learners with intellectual disabilities.

Visitors can tour the school, experience firsthand how learners thrive in a nurturing and specialised environment, and listen to the school’s talented Marimba band.

The event will also showcase learners’ creative artwork, highlighting their unique skills and progress.

A key focus is the “Adopt-a-Learner” initiative, where sponsors can make a direct impact by supporting an individual learner. Sponsors can provide a personal message of encouragement, ensuring each learner feels valued and motivated for the year ahead.

Alta du Toit School empowers learners through specialised education, training, and skills development to prepare them for a more independent future.

The school relies on the support of businesses and individuals to continue providing these essential services.

Interested individuals, companies, and organisations are invited to be part of this special day to see how they can make a difference in the lives of the learners.
