A motor vehicle accident involving three cars was confirmed by a security company on the scene shortly after the accident happened at 21:30 on La Belle Road between Bellville, Kuils River and Brackenfell.
A manager at CMAX Security who did not want to be named, confirmed to TygerBurger that three cars were involved, of which one was ablaze when they arrived.
The security company posted pictures on their Facebook page, citing they had been contacted by a client alerting them of the accident. Their immediate response was to contact the Brackenfell Fire Department. According to their Facebook post the police, medical personnel and Traffic Services took over the scene once the burning car had been doused.
The manager confirmed no one was killed in the accident, but cited two people were left injured and some more in shock.
It is unclear exactly how the accident was caused.
Bellville police could not provide any further details into the accident.
